TECNO Phantom V Flip passed FCC certification: Offers 144Hz Display, 64MP main camera
The foldable smartphone market is now mostly saturated. Different brands are trying different strategies to offer their best folding phone. Though Samsung was leading the foldable smartphone market with their Galaxy Fold series, brands like TECNO are really not that far from the competition. Techno already offered the cheapest foldable phone ever without much of compromises. This time their first flip phone, the TECNO Phantom V Flip, seems to get the cheapest flip phone 2023 award from competitors.
Tecno’s upcoming Phantom V Flip just received FCC certification. Along with this news, we received some key specifications of the device. Firstly, the device thickness was mentioned 15 mm when closed and 7 mm when unfolded. The screen is a 6.75 inch OLED display with FHD resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.
But the thing is there is no exterior display on the rare side of the phone like other flip phones. Currently, brands are in competition offering the largest outer-display in flip phones. In this case, this might be the reason of making the device affordable.
The Techno Phantom V Flip have a typical 4000mAh dual cell battery which is capable of taking 44W charging speed. The charging speed is not superfast like 300W of other brands but, that’s relatively fast compared to other flip phones.
Another leaks revealed the camera specifications of the device. According to this leak, the Tecno Phantom V Flip will have dual rare camera, with a main camera of 64MP and no information for the rest one. But the front camera resolution is said 32MP. This camera specs is confirmed with the live images of Tecno Phantom V Flip.
The live images also revealed the rare design of the design. The phone have a large circular camera module for only 2 cameras and a ring flashlight. The design appeared to be ugly to some netizens.
