Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with Android 14 (One UI 6) spotted on Geekbench
The current One UI 5 is a feature rich Android 13 skin. For further enhance the user experience and add latest features, a major update is mandatory for Samsung Galaxy Devices. Samsung is working for a while on the upcoming One UI 6 which will be based on latest Android 14. The One UI 6 development seems to be at the end as the devs started testing the system and its performance with benchmarking apps.
On 28 June, a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with Android 14 was added to the Geekbench database. Samsung’s developers are using the Geekbench to test the performance results of the phone with their latest One UI 6.
Though the Geekbench score isn’t anything special as the software is at its initial stage. The score is way lower than the Geekbench score of Galaxy S23 Ultra, with One UI 5. The developers will improve the device performance by tweaking the system and the kernel.
The news is important to know the current development progress of the One UI 6. It’s expected that the stable build of One UI 6 will be available in the Q4 of 2023. All eligable devices will get update of One UI 6 including Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
