ASUS Zenfone 10 complete design revealed: What’s changed?
With the last year’s Zenfone 9, Asus got a lot of attention from the consumers worldwide for offering a compact flagship without noticeable compromises. Currently, most of the flagship phones are getting bulkier and phablet sized. But not all of us prefer larger phones that’s not easy to handle with one hand. Also, there are some limitations of compact phones like smaller batteries, lack of proper camera setup with large camera sensors. But most of them wasn’t really the case for the Zenfone 9 by Asus. Asus managed to give almost everything that a 2022 flagship could offer within that compact frame. And this attempt of sticking with ease of use form factor was really appreciated worldwide.
So, as a successor of the Zenfone 9, Asus must keep that smaller size and keep upgrading the phone with latest hardware. Today, a tipster Evan Blass shared some render of the upcoming Zenfone 10. Those render confirms the design and all the color variants of the Asus Zenfone 10.
What’s new in Asus Zenfone 10 design:
- Cleaner rare design
- Narrower Display Bezels
- Redesigned Back panel
The rare panel is now cleaner than its predecessor. The text under the camera module is now removed and replaced with the Asus Zenfone text branding. There is a minimal Asus logo at the bottom of the panel. The material of the back panel doesn’t seem to be changed. The matte textured plastic back looks as premium and clean.
The camera module is mostly the same as the Zenfone 9. The dual camera module is protected by two metal rings. But we can expect upgraded camera sensors underneath those lenses. Asus could use the latest LYTIA sensors unveiled by Sony.
The display of the Asus Zenfone 10 is now improved than the Zenfone 9. They managed to make the lower bezel thinner, but still far from being symmetrical. Symmetrical bezel displays uses a technique to bend the circuit attached to the display and place it underneath the panel. This technique also requires more space than traditional OLED displays. Nowadays, mid-range phones like POCO F5/Redmi Note 12 Turbo offers symmetrical display with very narrow bezels.
The left aligned punch hole selfie camera cutout is still there. Also, the fingerprint scanner is embedded with the power button like most midrange phones. That’s due to the space management inside the phone. Side mounted FP scanners requires lot less space than under display optical or ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Though that won’t be an issue for most of the people.
Talking about the color variants, the Zenfone 10 will be available in 5 color variants including Black, White, Red, Green and Blue. All the colors looks very premium because of the matte finish of the rare panel.
