Xiaomi 14 ultra is set to launch globally soon
Xiaomi unveiled its Xiaomi 14 series of flagship smartphones on November 1st last year in China. Now, the countdown has begun for its official global launch, set to take place on February 25th at 15:00 GMT+1.
The specs for the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro are widely known thanks to their previous release in China. However, all eyes are now on the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra in the global release, generating unprecedented anticipation as it gears up to rival the Galaxy S24 Ultra in the Android market. Leaks surrounding the Xiaomi 14 Ultra are flooding in relentlessly.
Recent leaks about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s specs are adding fuel to the excitement. Reports indicate the possibility of a titanium alloy variant similar to iphone 15 pro max, along with storage configurations ranging from 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, to 16GB RAM with either 512GB or a whopping 1TB of storage using LPDDR5X and UFS4.0 technologies.
There was a rumor circulating about a 24GB RAM variant, but it appears to have been cancelled. Some other specifications of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra include a 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED LTPO display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, It will come equipped with HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box.
As always main focus of the device is the camera system. The device boasts a quad-camera setup featuring a 50MP 1 inch primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 50MP 3.2X telephoto sensor and a 50MP telephoto sensor with 5X optical zoom. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera.
