Vivo iQOO Z8 specifications leaked ahead of launch next month
Vivo iQOO Z series is the budget smartphone in the iQOO lineup. They are planning to launch their latest device, the iQOO Z8 in September. The exact date of the launch is currently unknown but we have the detailed specs of the phone courtesy of the Digital chat station on Weibo.
Vivo iQOO Z8 will feature a 6.64 inch 2388x1080p resolution LCD Display which is larger as well as a downgrade compared to last year’s 90Hz AMOLED display. Going from AMOLED to LCD is a strange decision.
The iQOO Z8 will come equipped with the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 which is a massive upgrade over the previous Dimensity 920 on the Z7. Dimensity 8200 has a 70.67% better AnTuTu 9 score than Dimensity 920 (851 K vs 498 K ). Phone will also have an 8GB/12GB RAM variant.
Majority of the time, cameras are the weakest point of this budget friendly smartphone and iQOO Z8 is no exception in that regard. It has a 64MP main camera and 2MP depth sensor and at the front it has a 16MP selfie camera.

Some other notable features includes a sizable 5000mAh battery, an upgrade over the 4500mAh battery on the Z7. The phone also has 120W super flash charging support. It will come with OriginOS 3.0 out of the box.
