This Cheap Realme phone will have Realme Mini Capsule: a Dynamic Island-like feature
Apple’s Dynamic Island created a lot of hype in smartphone communities. Despite its usage, it’s now an iconic feature that other brands are just trying to copy or recreate. Xiaomi tried similar things with the Xiaomi Civi 2. Huawei P60 Pro may have pill shape Camera cutout with Honor Island features. Some unofficial developers also tried to bring similar features to Android phones.
Realme hasn’t tried neither manufacturing capsule shape cutout devices, nor implementing it as a software based feature. But finally Realme’s Madhav Sheth himself announced something similar to the Dynamic Island of the iPhone. He called it Realme Mini Capsule. Though the tweet was later deleted which was expected.
But the thing is he confirmed that the feature will come in upcoming Realme C-series smartphone which is Realme C55. Realme C-series is a budget-friendly smartphone series from Realme. As it’s a budget phone, more people will be able to experience a bit of Dynamic Island’s esthetic.
As per the video revealed by @onleaks, the Capsule feature works when the device is connected to the charger. It notifies when the battery is low, when the plug is connected and when the device is fully charged. There should be more features regarding the punch hole cutout. We have to wait until the next news comes.
Another thing which was revealed is that the Realme C55 will support 33W VOOC fast charging technology, which sounds great for its price range.
