Pixel 8a spotted on Geekbench revealing some key specs
Google’s Pixel 8 hasn’t come out yet but we already have the listing of Pixel 8a on Geekbench under the code name Akita revealing some key specifications about the device.
The Pixel 8a will feature an underclocked variant of the Tensor G3 processor, which uses a 9-core (1+4+4) configuration. As seen in the Geekbench listing, it has a 2.91GHz prime core, four 2.37Ghz performance cores and four 1.7GHz power efficient cores. For comparison, the previously leaked standard version of Tensor the G3 had a Cortex-X3 core clocked at 3GHz, along with 4x 2.45GHz Cortex-A715 cores and 4x 2.15GHz Cortex-A510 cores.
The Pixel 8a also features the new Mali G715 GPU. The version listed on Geekbench had 8GB of RAM running Android 14. It achieved a single-core score of 1,218 and a multi-core score of 3,175

Pixel “A” series is always super popular among the consumers as it features most of Pixel exclusive android features at an affordable price. Any other information about the phone is still unknown but it should be pretty similar to the previous Pixel 7a.
