Nokia G22 spotted on Geekbench with an interesting new chipset
Nokia is ready to launch their latest budget smartphone the Nokia G22. The device was spotted on Geekbench revealing some of the specs. The chipset of the phone is from a company you probably never heard of.
Most of us are familiar with Qualcomm or MediaTek when it comes to android phone chipset. But the Geekbench database listing shows the phone has an octa-core 1.8GHz Unisoc T606 processor, which is interesting. If don’t know UNISOC is a Chinese fabless semiconductor company.
The Unisoc T606 processor comes with Mali-G57 GPU. The phone will have 4GB of RAM and Android 12 out of the box. The Geekbench score of the device is 308 points for the single-core and 1094 points for the multi-core which is a really good score for an entry level phone.

Any other specs of the device is currently unknown. But G22’s predecessor the Nokia G21, was launched with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It had a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP+2MP+2MP camera and a 5050mAh battery. So we can expect a similar spec on the G22 if not better.
