After a lot of wait, iQOO finally released their new flagship, the iQOO 11S. There were so many leaks and rumors regarding the phone. Today, with the launch of the phone, iQOO shared all the information of the phone officially. Some of those teasers become true and some of them are busted.

As per the specifications goes, The iQOO 11S offers bleeding edge of mobile technology. The new iQOO 11S comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It’s not the high frequency version called Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 that some others brands are using. Samsung already used the overclocked version of that chip in their Galaxy S23 Series.
The storage and memory configurations are also top end. The memory and storage variants are 12GB+255GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB. The 1TB storage is made with the latest UFS 4.0 technology. It was expected that iQOO 11S will offer 24GB RAM variant. But this hardware seems to be preserved for OnePlus 12 Series.
The camera tech also has impressive specs. iQOO uses their custom 50MP IMX866 sensor. Though they didn’t mention other camera specs. Still, the main IMX 866 is a very capable camera sensor.
The display tech is also superior. iQOO 11S offers a 6.78-inch 2K 144Hz display, which is also made with the latest E6 AMOLED technology. Along with the very high refresh rate, the display also have high frequency PWM dimming. iQOO also used the Supercomputing Independent Display Chip, which is a rebranding from Vivo V2 display chip.
There are also crazy specs in the battery and charging. iQOO uses Silicon Nitride technology to better control the heat during charging the device with 200W. Xiaomi introduced Solid State Battery technology. Recently, Xiaomi insiders modded a Redmi Note 12 plus that could use 300W fast charging technology. iQOO’s sister brand Realme already featured the 240W fast charging tech with their GT NEO 5. Fast charging technology is improving rapidly despite user’s desire.
The pricing is also competitive for Chinese market. The base 12GB+256GB is launched at 3799 yuan; 16GB+256GB at 4099 yuan; 16GB+512GB was released at 4399 yuan; and the top 16GB+1TB price in the Chinese market is 4799 yuan.
