iQOO 11S: 24GB RAM, SD 8 Gen 2, E6 OLED, IMX866, a proper successor
iQOO 11 was a proper upper mid-tier flagship killer of 2022 and still is a considerable option for power users. With the top class Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 power along with UFS 4.0 storage, the device is still capable of handling pretty much everything for every user. Now it’s time for its proper successor, which is iQOO 11S.
The iQOO 11S was rumored for a couple of months. Now we have some strong news about the device. These include performance improvements, camera hardware and the build quality of the device.
The iQOO 11S will offer the regular version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Some rumors said that the device might offer the overclocked version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The RedMagic 8S Pro will be the first phone to offer the high frequency version called Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 at max 3.36 GHz.
Samsung also used their custom overclocked version of SD 8 Gen 2 which is called Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. The iQOO 11S won’t use it and instead, they will offer 24 GB physical RAM.
The OnePlus 12 will also offer a 24 GB RAM variant. Memory pricing went down in the Chinese market. So Chinese brands are seizing the opportunity for their product marketing. They should instead optimize the RAM usage of the software.
Sources say that iQOO 11S will use an extremely large Vapor Cooling chamber for better heat dissipation. This will significantly improve the device performance during heavy processing sessions.
As per the camera hardware, iQOO 11S will come with Sony IMX866 as the main sensor. Though, we expect brands to start using Sony’s new LYTIA sensors in their phones. Vivo’s self developed V2 chip will be used (as a Super-computing independent display chip) in the phone to improve camera performance in Low light as well as optimize display visuals.
Another groundbreaking feature that iQOO 11S is going to offer is the latest Samsung E6 AMOLED display. This display with the latest technology will help produce extremely bright displays.
