What is Xiaomi HyperOS?
Xiaomi HyperOS is Xiaomi’s new software for the Xiaomi Ecosystem. In the Xiaomi Ecosystem, they offer almost every type of device such as smartphones, TVs, Cars, Tablets, Laptops, etc. To give users a seamless experience inside the Xiaomi Ecosystem, a unified OS is a must. That unified OS is Xiaomi HyperOS.
Xiaomi HyperOS comes with a lot of new features over MIUI 14. Though the look and feel are almost the same, the HyperOS feels smoother with a modern-looking UI. The icons got a slight redesign with a little change in colors.
One of the most hyped features of Xiaomi HyperOS is the Lock screen customization. It’s very similar to what Apple has done with their iOS but a lot better. We have a lot of areas to customize.
Xiaomi HyperOS for smartphones came as a successor of MIUI 14. Xiaomi 14 series was the first phone to come with HyperOS. But after that, many enthusiast developers ported HyperOS to many other unsupported Xiaomi smartphones. For example, we have HyperOS for Redmi Note 10 Pro/ Max. We also have HyperOS for Poco F3/ Redmi K40/ Mi 11X.
