Honor just released their latest Magic 5 series of smartphones last week at MWC 2023. But we already have some spec leaks and hands on photos of Honor Magic 5 Ultimate Edition. Honor Magic 5 and 5 pro already have stunning designs but the Ultimate Edition looks like a different beast.
Courtesy of a very reliable leaker digital chat station on weibo we have some detailed camera specs of the Honor Magic 5 Ultimate Edition and it’s the same camera setup as the Magic 5 pro.
Honor Magic 5 Ultimate Edition will have 50MP 1/1.12″ camera sensor with f/1.6 aperture and OIS + 50MP 1/2″ f/2.0 ultra- wide angle camera + 50MP f/3.0 periscope telephoto with 3.5X zoom and supports upto 100X digital zoom.
Magic 5 Ultimate Edition also has the same high quality 6.81 inch 120Hz LTPO OLED display as the Magic 5 pro. The chipset is the Qualcomm snapdragon 8 gen 2 unsurprisingly same as the 5 pro because that’s the most powerful chipset available for Android right now.
The most obvious change to the Magic 5 Ultimate Edition is the design. The camera module looks more square opposed to Magic 5 pro’s round design and then the back of the phone has leather like material instead of glass. It could be real leather or some kind of synthetic material.
